Application Security released a new version of its database application vulnerability assessment scanner, <A HREF="http://www.appsecinc.com/products/appdetective/">AppDetective 4.1.</A> Customers now benefit from heightened protection of their most sensitive assets via several new features. Also new to AppDetective 4.1 is support for IBM WebSphere in the AppDetective for Web Applications module. Not just a collection of generic Web server tests, this addition provides an in-depth security assessment of web applications installed on IBM WebSphere through a series of WebSphere-specific checks and tests.
