<A target="_blank" href="http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/7969458.stm">IBM proposed an "Open Cloud" computing strategy</A>, but Google, Amazon, and Microsoft are all refusing to play. Each company already has its own, proprietary, standard that it wants adopted. CISCO, Sun, AT&T, Red Hat, SAP, and AMD still back the Open Cloud.
