<p>Advertising group Publicis and IBM have announced a partnership to address the e-commerce market. The companies said the tie-up combines Publicis's experience in consumer insights and building an e-commerce ecosystem around transacxtions with IBM's expertise, technology and business process innovations. Publicis's Rosetta subsidiary has seen commerce related revenues from its over 10 year relationship with IBM double in 2012 and expects them to treble over the next three years. Publicis said it planned to establish four global commerce hubs over the next three years, starting by expanding its exising hub on the West Coast of the US. It will then open new centres in Western Europe, China and Latin America, each consisting of a team of specialists in the IBM Smarter Commerce portfolio. Publicis Rosetta teams will work with a local IBM team and local agencies to offer IBM Smarter Commerce software and services.
