<p>IBM has invested four million dollars to open its regional offices in northern Merida.</p><p>IBM's investment now positions Yucatan as the largest center of technological and business development in the southeastern part of Mexico.</p><p>Governor Zapata Bello and President of IBM Mexico, Salvador Martinez Vidal, inaugurated the facilities, making Merida the sixth location in Mexico. The other five are located in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Queretaro, Toluca, and Puebla.</p><p>The new IBM consulting and technology services in Merida will cover operations for the states of Yucatan, Quintana Roo, Campeche, Tabasco, and Chiapas.</p><p><a href="http://www.theyucatantimes.com/2013/03/ibm-opens-new-office-in-merida/">Keep reading...</a></p>
