<p>A day after IBM announced it will open a technology center downtown that will employ 800 people by 2016, the company has set dates for a job fair and a "campus blitz" at South Louisiana colleges.</p><p>The IBM job fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. April 23 at the Baton Rouge Marriott on Hilton Avenue. The event is aimed at experienced professionals and recent college graduates with technical degrees. IBM is looking for application development specialists, from entry-level to senior-level, with a variety of backgrounds.</p><p>The company's campus blitz from April 8 to 19 is for seniors and recent college graduates. LSU, Southern University, the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, the University of New Orleans and Southeastern Louisiana University will all be stops on the tour, with other schools to be added later.
