"People who are in the last leg of life, like Jairam Ramesh, can only think of burial ground. It seems the Union minister has arrived in the city only to submerge the ruling Congress party in the Godavari River," expelled Congress MP Vundavalli Arun Kumar has said.</p><p>Arun Kumar criticised Jairam Ramesh for having 'nil' knowledge about Rajahmundry, which is famous for the pious Godavari River, great social reformers, poets and scholars and rulers should know that Lord Veerabhadra Swamy appeared from the graveyard. "Now that Kiran Reddy has become a powerful force, it's time that the Union minister braces himself up to face the music. Both the Congress and BJP colluded in according statehood to Telangana region. We will certainly question the injustice delivered to the Seemandhras in the Parliament. It should be remembered that Indira Gandhi, after stepping down as prime minister, was not provided with any accommodation in Vijayawada because of which she had curd rice from the railway canteen," the former MP told reporters here Monday.</p><p>Former Amalapuram MP GV Harsha Kumar wondered as to why the government gave green signal to the BJP for holding a public meeting at the Nizam College Ground in Hyderabad Monday. "The district administration gave permission to the BJP to campaign in an educational institute in clear violation of election code," he added.
